CRS Calculator: how it works

Based on the IRCC Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) grid and recent Express Entry draw results for 2026.

What this calculator does

This tool estimates your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for Canada's Express Entry system. It adds up points for your age, education, official-language ability (English and French), work experience, and additional factors such as a provincial nomination, then compares the total with recent draw cut-off scores so you can see roughly where you stand.

Who should use this

It is for skilled workers planning to apply through Express Entry: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, or the Federal Skilled Trades Program. It is also useful for couples checking whether to apply with a spouse or partner as the principal applicant, and for anyone weighing whether to improve a language test result before submitting a profile.

How to read your results

Your score is shown out of 1,200 and broken down into core, spouse, skill-transferability, and additional-points categories. Compare your total against the average and most recent draw cut-offs shown on the page: at or above the cut-off means you would likely have received an invitation in a recent round, while below it means you may need to raise your score or wait for a category-based draw. Use the What-If toggles to see how a higher language score or a provincial nomination would change the result.

Limitations and official sources

This is an unofficial estimate for planning only and does not guarantee an invitation to apply. It does not assess your eligibility, the accuracy of your self-reported scores, or program-specific requirements, and draw cut-offs change with every round. Always confirm your real score and eligibility with the official IRCC tools before acting.
